Throttle splitter

Does anyone out there have a suggestion about the best throttle splitter for the R-582 with dual Bing 54 carbs? I don't want to use the aluminum body with the aluminum slider disk inside. The cables and ferrels are all good just the splitter juntion is sticking. I ordered a spltter from CPS but they sent the wrong ends and cable disk for dual carbs. Blue skies!

No, but I will this weekend. Janeth is leaving on Monday so I will probably be out there on Saturday but not Sunday. I want to fix the splitter and test it out flying. Man these days lately look like the mornings and evenings are primo for flying!
We got hosed and no one wants to admit it for fear of breaking the silence needed to keep the FAA off of your back. This is why I volunteered to be on the FAAST deal. To give us at least a voice.

Yeah,
Just like we figured it would be. Some flight instructors are "more equal then others" What a buch a shit!

A am already tired of the Harley Shop job. So im gonna quit. Made some money and thats enough for right now. Did you fly this week end? I didn't get out there myself.

No problem. I know what you mean. I am pretty brain dead after five days of 9-6 myself. When you can talk call me. No rush just trying to be neighborly, despite being grounded over parts, and not making any appearance at BCV for three weeks.

Rob,
Sorry, ment to call you last PM but when I got off work I was really tired, and then forgot. I will call you later though.

Rob,
I think I might have one from my old 582. I will look. Its a new one too I think. I just threw out a bunch of junk from my garage tho.

Thanks for the congrats. I wanted to tell you too, the test was NO BIG DEAL!! AT ALL! I passed it with no problem at all, and the guy (Mike Huckle) did not do any of the stuff Paul hamilton did!! Makes me feel like sueing that guy. Any way, all good now. Got to see family in CA. and spent some time in home town.
Will talk soon eh?

Rob,
If you want to work together some more I am willing to swallow a little pride if you are? Maybe we just needed to learn to be more patient with each other. I got a call from you a few weeks ago, when I picked up no one was there. Accidental dialing?

Ok man. I'll wait to hear from you. If I dont hear from you, I will give you plenty of space. Saw Mike Luther at the Harley shop the other day. I work there now and he was picking up some parts. He is a nice guy, I have always liked him, Is he still president of Chapter 42? Or is that you now? Oh...one last thing...did you get a CFI? Saw where you were listed on EAA as an instructor but it didnt list any rateings or anything like that for you. FAA is taking comments on a NPRM to change the rules again. Looks like they want to make it easier yet for potential Sport Pilots.

Wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I purchased Antares MA-33 and Sergey finished however was transferred to the U.K. before I had a chance to fly it. So heading back to Alaska in July. I have time set up with Pete but looking forward to learning from everyone in the area and get involved in the trike community and EAA. Hope the summer is kind for flying.

Hey Rob ! Sorry I didn't get to the meeting tonight but thanks for the invitation. I got my plane legal N2145W so now it is illegle for me to fly it. So no time in the air this year. As I mentioned I had to change my e mail so fell of the lists and am a bit in the dark. I was at Joel Wallace's getting work done so get some news that way. I did talk to Frank Lowe and he is also unsure of his flight status but is flying at least so we will compare notes as things progress. No, I liked it better before the new rules. But we must get beyond that. Guess that I can get a student deal after some kind of written test and fly in a 25 mi. area for a while. So the plane sits while I putts around. Heard that Surgey was up and some people flew at Iron Man! That would be great! My plane has been there but not me yet. Ah well all in due time. I hope you are well and flying. Craig
