Hi Jesse!
Yessirree! I love my (R503 & R447)Tukans!
No pods or bad places to step & break something. Kinda like a motorcycle for pushing in reverse directions,
They're so simple for anyone to work on or find or make parts. I have decided to remain a single seated flyer, & avoid the N# troubles ! I would think the double surface wing would be great for going places! If you're into hi & low & slow, which is most of my flying scope, a single surface wing is much easier to open & shut, rig & uuhmmph liffft! Whew!
Anyway good luck with your trike search!

Jesse, I love my Tukan! I have seen that trainer and it would be a nice combination. Although I enjoy the extra speed in my Aeros, there is nothing like an open trike for local cruising and photography. I don't think you would go wrong with that trike. I've never flown the LaMouette but Greg really loved his. I still fly my Tukan just to enjoy the exhileration of short TO/LDG and quick climb rate.

I used an ATC2K bullet camera for this video before I learned to mute the sound. The noise will distort the video. I used the same camera for my OBX video...you can see its much better.
I do get so bloody frustrated when i cannot get my shit togther, but thanks for the your continued intrest in my trials and tribulations...
Bets regards

Good to hear from ya. Welcome to the wonderful world of "fun flying". I searched for a plane for about 4 months before finding my Tukan. It was a great trike to learn on...very forgiving and sturdy. If it had been a little faster I probably wouldn't have got the Aeros. Now I can fly heavy and slow or make cross-country trips a little quicker.
